Escape the busy city of Phnom Penh for a peaceful day at Odongk Mountain, the former royal capital of Cambodia. This one-day trip blends history, spirituality, and local culture. The tour begins with a scenic drive through the countryside before reaching the mountain, where you’ll climb to discover ancient royal stupas, sacred temples, and breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding rice fields.
After exploring, continue to the Cambodia Buddhist Vipassana Centre to experience the serene atmosphere of meditation and Buddhist practice. Enjoy a traditional Cambodian lunch at a local restaurant and take some time to relax or browse through local market stalls at the base of the mountain.

In the afternoon, visit Kampong Luong’s Silver Handicraft Village, known for its talented artisans who create beautiful silver products using traditional techniques. Learn about their craftsmanship and enjoy the charm of local village life before returning to Phnom Penh in the late afternoon.

Itinerary

Morning (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

08:00 AM- Depart from Phnom Penh
09:15 AM- Arrive at Odongk Mountain. Climb stairs to the top and explore: Royal stupas, Phnom Preah Reach Throap, Panoramic views of rice fields
10:45 AM- Heading to Cambodia Buddhist Vipasana Centre
12:00 PM-Heading to have traditional lunch at local restaurant

Afternoon (12:00 PM - 3:30 PM)

12:00 PM: Having lunch at local restaurant and relax at the base local market stalls
01:30 PM: Visit silver handicraft village (Kampong Luong)
03:00 PM– Depart back to Phnom Penh
